Loanhead Music Festival is a Scottish charity SC 034137 and a member of the TMSA.

Firstly, thanks to all who supported the 11th Festival, whether as performer, session player or viewer, and we hope you'll want to do it all again next year.
We've started work already, and our first acts for the Friday concert are being booked. We've already confirmed local band the Loanhead Session Collective and an exciting blues band from the deep south (of Scotland) called Scatterbrain. We've also booked an astonishing young performer from Cumbria, Ethan Thomas. I first met Ethan at a festival 2 years ago, and was blown away with his masterful guitar technique and remarkably mature self-penned lyrics. Mark the name, because he's a future star without a doubt, And to round things off, we've also booked Mike Breen, one of the finest performers I've heard. We're sorting out the exact line-up details, but it promises to be a superb concert.

If you know Loanhead, you'll know there's a stage on Fountain Green. It's primarily used for the town's gala day, and is unroofed for the rest of the year. We're coordinating with the Gala Day committee to ensure the stage is covered in time for the Festival, so we'll be looking for acts to perform on the stage. There won't be any payment (because it's impractical to ticket an open area), but it would be a great way to showcase your talents.
